Esta semana he visitado el Colegio Nazaret, en Los Realejos,
para hablar a los alumnos de 3º y 5º de Primaria de mi trabajo como ilustrador de
los libros de Cecilia Domínguez que han leido en clase: “Fompi”, “Lío y Fompi”,
“Fompi y Lío en la Montaña de Cristal” y “Entre Tejados”.
Fue un placer contestar sus preguntas y muy enriquecedor conocer
de primera mano sus impresiones. Acabamos el encuentro con un dibujo en directo
y la firma de ejemplares. Gracias al centro y a Jesús Hernández, coordinador de
Lengua de Primaria, por su invitación. Espero que podamos repetir la
experiencia en el futuro.
This week I visited the Nazaret School in Los Realejos, to talk
to students in 3rd and 5th grade about my work as an illustrator of the books by
author Cecilia Dominguez that they have read in class: "Fompi", "Lío y
Fompi", “Fompi y Lío en la Montaña de Cristal” y “Entre Tejados”.
It was a pleasure to answer their questions and very rewarding
to see their first hand impressions. We ended the encounter with a live drawing
and book signings. Thanks to the center and Jesús Hernández, Spanish
Language coordinator for Primary Education, for their invitation. I hope we
can repeat the experience in the future.
